Mindfulness

As the world evolves

men crawl over it;

the Sasquatch laugh

and knock on wood.

They come as crows

to give wings to the dead;

they come as squirrels

to plant seeds of truth.

They come as wolves

to yip and howl;

they come as owls

to seek who speaks

without moving their lips.
