Unique Kid’s Books for the Heart and the Soul

Unique kid’s books for the heart and soul. This means they are wholesome, no LBGQ or transgender references here. No woke agenda or psychiatric mumbo jumbo. Non of the immoral nonsense all too prevalent on modern bookstore shelves today.

I wrote these unique kid’s books, so I can vouch for their wholesomeness.

As for the uniqueness, I am not a literary clone from some university clique of egotists. I grew up on a small farm in a countryside dominated by Christian and Amish families. My books maintain those values and are mostly about nature and our human connections locally here in Northeastern Michigan.

My wife, Mary and I, used be known as QuickTurtle Books, but we are now permanently retired to the country. I am now known as Richard Rensberry, Author. The QuickTurtle website and all of its social media pages have been relegated for deletion, still in progress. WordPress and Amazon are my children’s book’s home from here on out.

The above book, Butterfly Stomach, was written for children having fun at the Cedar Valley Fun Park in Comins, Michigan. The parks claim to fame is the fact that it is the second largest amusement park in Michigan. As far as I know, that is the case. (I’d give a link to the book, but Amazon has put an ad for a women’s dress where the cover of the book is supposed to be presented. I’ll spare you the Amazon intrusion. They are full of woke saboteurs I’m afraid.)

Another example of one of our unique kid’s books for the heart and soul is called “Sasquatch”.

Michigan is famous for Bigfoot encounters throughout the State. I myself saw a Bigfoot when I was kid, thus a kid’s book on Sasquatch was a natural fit in my collection of unique wholesome books written for our children.

One of my latest projects resulted in two unique books for the heart and soul about migratory birds. After meeting a delightful Michigan artist by the name of Linda Faith Widing, we embarked on a collaboration to produce “The Kirtland’s Warblers” and “The Wild Canary”. Very unique, beautiful and educational books for kids of all ages.

So if you are looking for unique children’s books for the heart and soul you have come to the right place. Again, nothing but wholesome and original here.

Children’s Book, Maple Tree Elves

The freeze-thaw cycle is upon us.

It is that time of year in Michigan. That sweet nectar of the maple is drip, drip dripping into our pails, and will soon be boiled and cooked down into that delectable syrup that will excite our taste buds.

French toast and pancakes are piled on the horizon.

Even the lilacs and willows are awakening. Thank God it is Spring.

Innocent Moments: A Poetic Reflection

Innocence

The sound of children

comes in swells

like the sea… I love

how they fill the emptiness and silence

with their unfettered selves, how

they interact and fly

with the spirit of kites

and the gulls foray.. how the clouds

pile in the distance and sit

cotton candy pink and purple

as bruises on the horizon.
