Presence

IMG_0513

Like roots of a tree
what the spirit does
is often invisible, how it grows,
where it goes
and who they meet. It is
a deception
that all is chance
or by accident, for like roots
beneath the tree
there is purpose, design
and knowledge in the nucleus
of ourselves.

It isn’t time
that decides, it is we
that decide time, those moments
to be present, those moments to look
and that moment to receive
or reject. There is no validity of accident
from the outside in, it is purely
from the inside out
that you are here
fixing breakfast, that you appear
earthly and beautiful
in your chosen flesh.
