Like a Big Ship I have been from one side of the country to the other this summer. I have spent little time looking at a computer screen, instead I have been restarting old ventures and getting our books into brick and mortars. It is hard work and requires a lot of travel.
Labor Day weekend QuickTurtle Books® will be at the Tawas Point Lighthouse in Tawas, Michigan to autograph copies of our popular books “IF I WERE A LIGHTHOUSE” and “BIG SHIPS”.
Our maritime children’s books are now in Gift shops across Michigan with new outlets on a regular basis. Next week we will be visiting The Presque Isle Lighthouses to meet the proprietor there.
I hope everyone had an abundant and prosperous summer. We have more books and traveling in the near future, but I will try harder to sit down at the computer and connect via this remote cyber world.

Sounds like things are going well for you with the marketing of your books. You’re so lucky to visit Tawas City over Labor Day! I grew up in Tawas and certainly miss the lake and that beautiful lighthouse.

It’s been hard work, but oh! so rewarding! Going out and meeting folks face to face-nothing can replace it, I believe. Online is good and has it’s own advantages, like right now. I appreciate the mediums of both-online and in person.
