On this Thanksgiving I have a lot to be thankful for, the bloodline that runs through my veins played an integral part in the founding of America. I am a twelfth generation descendant of Pilgrims John Alden and William Brewster. I am related to three US Presidents— John Adams, John Quincy Adams and William Taft. My family’s blood has been sacrificed and spilled for generations creating and defending the Constitution of the United States of America and all the freedoms afforded to this great nation’s citizenry. I still believe in that Constitution as the only saving grace and hope for maintaining this free Nation under God.
I give thanks to my steadfast and brave forefathers and all their friends. I give thanks to the many generations of patriots that have walked and kept the good path laid. I give thanks to our President Donald Trump for having the courage to stand up against the growing numbers of anti-American politicians and their dirtbag media and constituents.
To those of you promoting and deeming it progressive and popular to denigrate the flag and the hard won freedoms for which she stands; to you so ignorant of history to think you know best by degrading the writers of the greatest document ever written for the protection of a nation and its citizens; to you I say— that is why the Second Amendment exists.
Even if The Constitution wasn’t written with any of your blood, it was written with mine and I will fight you to keep it.
