Ultimate Saturday Shoutout for Willingness

This is my ultimate Saturday Shoutout for willingness to fight for what is right. No apathy allowed. No censoring to protect the justifications of the guilty. For no country, no culture or no civilization can survive without their warriors. Warriors with their words, warriors with their weapons, warriors without fear.

It is easy to become and defend wrong. It is easy to be silent. It is easy to back away, backdown and believe that wrong has nothing to do with me.

At the very least one can speak.

I am not talking about this politically manufactured, progressive protester bullshit. That is what it is, bullshit and wrong. I am talking about basic truths. Truths that have persisted since the beginning of time. The defense of ethics, integrity and the willingness to suppress and correct those antipathetic to greatest good and survival of our nation.

This shoutout goes to the very few in government not compromised by bribes, bootlicking, and NCO dirty dollars. If one exists, thank you. You are a true warrior of truth.

The recent dissertation by Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is the kind of strength and wisdom I am talking about. He’s a true warrior for truth. If you haven’t heard it, you are delinquent in being alive.

A big Saturday shoutout for willingness to this courageous and honorable man, Justice Thomas. May those that listen and duplicate his message take his integrity and purpose to heart. Look, listen and defend. There is no other rightful course.

Off The Beaten Path ShoutOut # 5

This week’s shoutout goes to a bearer of the torch of truth; Lynn The Courageous Deen.  She has realized an abundance of integrity and strength by standing up for all that is honorable and right.  She does so, despite ridicule and attacks from those that cannot look nor perceive.  Lynn stands above the crowd, living with her head held high without compromise.  That is the reward and value of that priceless commodity of knowingness attained through self-certainty.

Un fortunately, the truth can often be a lonely place.  The constant want for agreement from friends and relatives can be like a knife whittling at your heart and mind.  It is easy to slouch, swallow your self-trust and repeat the same old social disguises just to get along.  Lynn does not do that.  She is certain of her truths.  She defies giving voice to the lies.

That takes courage.  The kind of courage that is rare in these days filled with corrosive noise, the constant barrage of half-truths and twisted meanings of subversive words like transgender, political correctness, democratic socialism, and “free speech”.  The media and morally corrupt seem to know no bounds.  The brainwashed cannot discern.  The Internet AI bots have no sentience, no common sense and no heart; but Lynn Deen and others like her do, and that is what counts.  

So a big shoutout goes to Lynn The Courageous Deen.  Her and her brothers and sisters in arms give hope to the resurrection and preservation of all that is truth and righteousness.  She is the face of America, a beacon, a bearer of the torch where reason resides.

Integrity is hard won in a world stripped of its moral compass. Temptations to violate natural laws and common sense are always just a step or two outside the door. One compromised step and one’s integrity is eroded for that next immoral step, and then another. Sadly, I have witnessed it so many times that it is now getting harder and harder to find hard working souls that haven’t been compromised for the sake of profit.

As an example, there’s this character called Lemon. Lemon once had a pound of integrity but squandered it all peddling lies and insults for a publicized stint on social media, with a sordid following of criminals, perverts and “social activists”. He recently stepped a little further out the door and instigated a riot inside a church in Minnesota. Now, he should be headed where he belongs, prison. However, I am afraid there isn’t a single judge, prosecutor nor even defense lawyer that is capable of heeding the call: “May we not compromise for the sake of profit”.

Today my guest artist is children’s book author Mary Rensberry, whose new book The Best of Me from a-z is now available from Amazon. It is about reinforcing and validating the innate traits and virtues of and for children (as well as most adults for that matter).
As a children’s book author myself, I am struck by the phenomenal illustrations that accompany each virtue and trait from a-z. Illustrator Sara Murtas did a wonderful job in capturing your visions of affirming the higher qualities we all strive for in our lives.

How did you connect with illustrator Sara Murtas for the collaboration of The Best of Me from a-z?

First of all, thank you Richard Rensberry and QuickTurtle Books for having me as your guest artist. You’ve had some amazing artists thus far!

You ask about my connections with Sara Murtas, the illustrator of The Best of Me from a-z and how we connected. We connected via the world’s largest Freelance Services Marketplace known as Fiverr ( fiverr.com). It was there I looked through many portfolios from various artists for the kind of art I was envisioning. It was there I found Sara’s outstanding work. The rest is history! I sent her a request for the type of illustrations I was needing and we agreed on a price and built our collaboration from there. All in all, Sara is a top-notch professional, has a good work ethic, and has great communication skills. It was a joy to work with Sara in every respect.

How Does One Maintain Integrity?
There is a difference between having integrity and being pompous. Integrity contains a degree of humbleness and the ability to walk in someone else’s shoes to validate rightness when it is present and deserved. It also rightly contains the ability to stand one’s ground in the face of wrongness and persuade by rightness to move wrongness toward more rightness. I know that’s a mouthful, but think about it and I think you will agree that it is true.
